A day at Disney is never complete without enjoying your favorite rides, shows and so much more. More and more people are starting to create competitions, challenges, scavenger hunts and more to increase the amount of fun for their families. Together let’s explore some of those challenges to help spice up your next trip to Disney.

The Easy Challenges

Diving into all the challenges that we have heard of it is best to start with the easiest challenges to accomplish. These challenges are single feature or character based. Some of these challenges are multi-park challenges, but certainly are pretty easily attained with the right planning.

The Classics Challenge

Disney Challenges 1

The Classic Challenge is to hit all the attractions at Magic Kingdom and Epcot that were original to the parks opening day. This challenge also can be done at Disneyland as well.

Epcot Attractions

  • The American Adventure
  • Impressions de France
  • Spaceship Earth
  • Listen to the Land
  • Gran Fiesta Tour

Magic Kingdom Attractions

  • Walt Disney World Railroad – Minimum of One Leg
  • Jungle Cruise
  • Swiss Family Treehouse
  • Mad Tea Party
  • It’s a Small World
  • Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
  • Tomorrowland Speedway
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Hall of Presidents
  • Country Bear Jamboree
  • Enchanted Tiki Room
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant

The Water Challenge

Disney Challenges 2

The water challenge is interesting because it is not just boat rides. It is also any ride that has a water element. For example, the spitting camel on Carpets qualifies this ride for this challenge. This Challenge is for all 4 Orlando Parks in a single day. Book your Fast Passes wisely to make this one happen.

Magic Kingdom Attractions

  • Jungle Cruise
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Magic Carpets of Aladdin
  • It’s a Small World
  • Tom Sawyers Island
  • Splash Mountain
  • Under The Sea
  • Liberty Square Riverboat

Epcot Attractions

  • The Seas
  • Frozen Ever After
  • Gran Fiesta Tour
  • Living With The Land

Animal Kingdom Attractions

  • Kali River Rapids
  • Na’vi River Journey
  • It’s a Bugs Life

Chase Mickey Character Meet and Greet Challenge

The idea with this challenge is to go to all 4 parks and meet Mickey and get photos at every Mickey meet and greet. This is a bit tricky because all the Mickey meet and greets are Mickey and Pals and you never know which characters will be there. The characters you might meet are Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy or Pluto. The key with this challenge is to hit them all and hope for the best.

Around the World Hat Challenge

There are a lot of different Epcot challenges, but this one is pretty unique and a ton of fun. This picture challenge is to visit every country in the World Showcase and get pictures in at least 2 hats from every country. You don’t have to purchase the hats, but have fun with it! Remember… pics or it didn’t happen.

I’m a Big Kid Now Challenge

This challenge will prove that you are no longer a child. Every ride that has a height restriction within the 4 Orlando parks are the rides to target.

Dark Rides Challenge

This is the ultimate indoor ride challenge. Hit all 4 Disney Orlando parks dark rides. These are rides that are inside only that means that The Land at Epcot does not count as that is an indoor/outdoor ride.

Ride the Rails Challenge

Take a ride on the railroads throughout the entire Walt Disney World complex. This includes the monorail, Mickeys Railway at Magic Kingdom as well as all the rail-based rides.

To the Moon and Back Challenge

Ride all the space-themed rides. If space is in the name or stars or even if there is a space-themed car then you need to ride it.

The Mountain Challenge

There’s the mountain challenge at the Magic Kingdom. The good news is this is a Magic Kingdom only Challenge which makes it a bit easier, however, without a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Fastpass it might be a tad tricky.

The Real Challenges

The previous challenges are pretty simple in the grand scheme of things. These next challenges will take planning, diligence, and a plucky stick to it attitude. The challenges themselves are doable, but they are very challenging and include all 4 parks.

Epic 4 in 1 Disney Challenge

Disney Challenges 3

This can be as difficult as you choose to make it, however, here is the minimum you need to do to complete the challenge.

  1. Ride 3 E-Ticket Rides at each park.
  2. Eat a sizable snack, or meal at each park.
  3. Take a picture of each activity along the way.

There is no “prize” other than bragging rights, but if you can complete this in a day without a plan you are doing something amazing. We recommend planning out your day utilizing Extra Magic Hours if at all possible.
